A year ago today, Toadboy and I entered the studio to record Deep Woods’ first EP, “Betray.” At that point, we didn’t have a name or a band, just two guys and four songs we had written together. We recorded the EP in two days, just the two of us, with Toad tracking bass and half the guitar and me doing drums, the other half of guitar, and vocals. Now, a year later, we are a full band with the additions of shreddin’ Sammy Sock and drum god Alex Ruscansky and we are about to hit the studio again to record a new EP. This music is gonna be on a whole new level, so get ready and stay tuned. -Jack
